Yellowstone fans, rejoice! While there may not be any new updates on Season 5, Cole Hauser is giving fans what they want by signing on to do more Westerns during his time off from the show, including a new role in Dead Man’s Hand.

Gunslinger Reno (Jack Kilmer) is headed West for a quiet life with his new bride. But when their stagecoach is ambushed, he kills an outlaw in self-defense. In a nearby town, Reno learns that the man he slayed is the brother of the corrupt mayor, Bishop (Stephen Dorff), who vows revenge. After their card game turns into a bloody shootout, who will be left standing? Cole Hauser appears as a U.S. Marshal who becomes Reno’s ally.

Brian Skiba, writer/director of the movie, shared his thoughts about adapting Matthew and Kevin Minor’s graphic novel No Rest for the Wicked

into a script. “Dead Man’s Hand is a Western rooted in a tragic love story followed by retaliation and nonstop action,” he wrote. “I couldn’t be more appreciative to my producing team, the cast, the crew, and Milestone, who collaborated to bring this story to life. Jack Kilmer, Stephen Dorff, and Cole Hauser gave exceptional performances. The scenic Great Plains of Santa Fe provided the perfect backdrop for this Western.”

We love us some Cole Hauser! Back in March, Cole did share an update regarding the last of Yellowstone. Check out what he had to say HERE.
