Although John prides himself on his land and capable family, he has struggled to keep them under his roof and in his control. Beth is John’s emotionally unstable yet fiercely loyal daughter who will do anything to support and protect her father. Unfortunately, sometimes her impulsive actions wind up hurting the ones around her.

There is rarely a middle ground or compromise for Beth. If she wants something, she will do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, knocking over anyone standing in her way to get it. Beth’s actions have tested the family numerous times, significantly contributing to Jamie’s inevitable betrayal. Her way of discussion and negotiating tends to end in foul language and violence, as was seen with her brutal brawl with John’s love interest, Summer.

When Yellowstone season 5 returns, Beth will find herself at war with Jamie as well as Market Equities. Her actions are also beginning to challenge Rip’s (Cole Hauser) resolve, but his ability to absorb whatever problem she throws at him, and convert that into love will likely help keep Beth from doing anything too self-destructive.
