Clint Eastwood has brought on another massive talent to his upcoming film Juror No. 2, adding JK Simmons to the already stacked cast (via The Hollywood Reporter).
JK Simmons In Juror No. 2
Eastwood is making the film at Warner Bros and is also producing the film through his production company, Malpaso.
Clint Eastwood’s Juror No. 2 is a legal thriller that follows a juror named Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who deals with a moral dilemma while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial.
What Kemp discovers could change the outcome of the jury’s verdict and either convict or acquit the accused. JK Simmons will play another one of the jurors.
Juror No. 2 Casting
While Clint Eastwood is directing Juror No. 2, the script was penned by Jonathan Abrams. The rest of the cast’s roles have also been revealed.
The film stars Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette with an ensemble cast that includes Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, Leslie Bibb, Chris Messina, and Kiefer Sutherland.
In addition to Hoult’s starring role and JK Simmons as another juror, Toni Collette will play the prosecutor, Gabriel Basso will play the accused, and Chris Messina will play the public defender.
Plus, Zoey Deutch will play Hoult’s wife, and Kiefer Sutherland will play Hoult’s AA sponsor.
JK Simmons Staying Busy
Along with Clint Eastwood, the production team also includes Tim Moore and Jessica Meier of Malpaso, along with Adam Goodman and Matt Skiena of Dichotomy.
