At the beginning of Season 3 of Yellowstone, Kevin Costner’s character John Dutton told his right hand man Rip that they needed to hire new cowboys. Actually, he wanted a woman or two. In his words, he told Rip to make sure they were “ugly or mean,” so as not to start a love connection with any of the guys in the bunkhouse.
Enter: Teeter, a tough-as-nails, tabacco-chewing cowboy, played by actress Jennifer Landon, who just so happens to be TV legend Michael Landon’s daughter.

Teeter’s accent is so thick that when she first introduced herself, Lloyd and Rip thought she said her name was “Peter.” She became a comedic relief during the season, but also showed her loyalty to the Dutton family and her fellow cowboys in more ways than one.
