Yellowstone season five is currently on a hiatus with many fans going back to the previous series to while away the time.

Season five of Yellowstone is confirmed to be the final outing of Taylor Sheridan’s epic contemporary cowboy series.

The family drama has built up a huge following over the years and the Paramount Plus show has spawned multiple spin-offs.

However, many fans of the original series have lots of questions about the show and its major characters, including the attack on Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly).

What episode is Beth attacked in Yellowstone?

Beth was brutally beaten in season two, episode seven in an instalment called Resurrection Day.

She was in her office at bank Schwartz & Meyer working late when two armed men broke in and first assaulted her assistant Jason (David Cleveland Brown).

Beth managed to text Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and call on him for help while Jason was being viciously attacked.

After brutally beating Jason, the men turned their attention to her with Beth trying to fight back.

The duo then shot Jason dead and started to torture Beth for hours.

Rip eventually showed up to find Beth brutally wounded as she broke down from her ordeal after showing defiance against her assailants.

After Rip had dealt with the men, Beth started to take her revenge and torture them.

However, Rip had to stop her and called for medical assistance before telling Beth he loved her.

Both Beth and Rip were treated for their wounds from the horrific attack.

This was one of the first big moments where Beth was attacked in Yellowstone – later she was subjected to a bomb sent to her office.

British actress Reilly has previously addressed Beth’s scars from season three after the bomb.

She spoke about the behind-the-scenes work going into recreating her character’s post-attack appearance.

She explained how the “phenomenal” make-up artist Abigail Steele would lay on “every single burn” individually.

The Eden Lake star told Entertainment Tonight: “There are literally, like, 45 pieces of individual burns she would paint on me. So it was a real artistry with it.”

The make-up for the scares would take four hours with Reilly starting off in the make-up chair at 3am in the morning to start filming at 7am.
