Sister Wives star Gwendlyn Brown was a very proud sister as she took to social media to applaud her younger sister’s major milestone.

Gwendlyn Brown was one of 17 children that starred on the hit TLC show Sister Wives which was led by her father Kody Brown and his four wives.

The TV star made a special mention to one of her rarely-seen siblings yesterday as she gushed over her sister’s latest achievement.

While rewatching the season 17 finale last month, Gwendlyn opened up on an aspect of the show that fans never saw; how production was plagued by law enforcement.

Polygamy, a lifestyle which involves be ing married to multiple partners, is illegal in every state in the USA as a person cannot enter into more than one legally-licenced marriage at a time.

However, Kody Brown, Gwendlyn’s father, was initially only legally married to his first wife Meri in the early days of the series when the Brown family was living in Utah.

The pair later divorced only on paper so Kody could marry Robyn in 2014.

It was during this time that Gwendlyn claims her father was under the watchful eye of authorities, saying in the video: “Police were actually coming to our door when I was a kid and being like, ‘You have to leave’.”

She also recalled a police officer allegedly telling her: “We’re gonna take your dad to prison.”

Gwendlyn indicated that this incident influenced her family’s move to Las Vegas, which was documented in the early seasons of the show.

However, the 21-year-old explained that, as a Mormon family, she never understood why they had chosen that area.

She continued: “Choosing Las Vegas in my opinion, as a fundamentalist Mormon family, was such a weird decision. It’s Las Vegas. It’s Sin City. It’s so wild.”
