You’ll be able to stream the first eight episodes before you know it.
Finally, some good news for Yellowstone fans. Viewers of the popular Paramount Network hit have been reeling from the official announcement that the show will end after season 5. A new spinoff is in the works, but it’s the end of the road for the Kevin Costner-led original.
Streaming Yellowstone has been the source of frustration for fans, as the series airs on Paramount Network but is not available on Paramount+. (To add to the confusion, both Yellowstone spinoffs 1883 and 1923 stream on Paramount+.) For viewers who don’t have cable, there will soon be a way to watch the first eight episodes of season 5.
Seasons one through four of Yellowstone stream exclusively on Peacock. The first half of season 5 will join them on May 25. If you’re not interested in streaming, the released episodes of season 5 are also available to purchase on DVD. Keep in mind that you will have to purchase a second DVD for the remaining episodes once available.
If you’re eager to watch the second half of season 5, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Although Paramount previously announced that the final episodes would air in the summer, the latest update confirms that they will begin in November 2023.
