The stars came out for the Met Gala, and fashion’s biggest night did not disappoint. In particular, we were floored after we saw Yellowstone star Kelsey Asbille, who looked breathtaking in a daring red dress.
The 31-year-old actress, who stars as Monica Dutton on the hit Paramount Network show, traded her typical jeans and dusty boots for a dramatic high-fashion look for her very first Met Gala appearance.
Kelsey donned a red off-the-shoulder mini dress with exaggerated hips by designer Prabal Gurung. The glamorous look included a long tulle train and exposed matching garter. She paired the dress with minimal jewelry (simple diamond-encrusted earrings and a matching ring), and she showed off her long legs with red stilettos.
The back of Kelsey’s gown and the garter featured matching rose details. Many in attendance wore black and white ensembles to honor Lagerfeld’s classic style, which made Kelsey’s bright red dress stand out in the crowd.
Kelsey’s stylist, Danielle Goldberg, shared a photo of the star before the event (her bright red manicure is gala ready). In the casual pic, Kelsey is sipping from a mug in striped pajamas. Danielle captioned the photo, “baby’s first MET.” It may have been Kelsey’s first appearance at the high-profile event, but she certainly made an impression with her gorgeous look.
