It sounds like feelings are rattled in the Sister Wives world. Earlier this week Christine Brown announced she was engaged to her new beau, David Woolley, and it sounds like her ex, Kody Brown, isn’t taking it to well. An insider says Kody has pretty strong feelings about the news, and of course, he’s kind of made it all about him.

Christine is engaged, Kody is enraged.
A few days ago, Christine and David shared the news with the world that after a few months of dating, David popped the question and she happily accepted.
“David treats me like a queen and tells me I’m beautiful everyday,” Christine told People after announcing her engagement.
“I’ve never been in love like this before and the world seems like a brighter place with him in it.”

Fans have been curious to know how Kody was going to take the news.
For anyone who watched last season of Sister Wives which followed the breakdown and breakup of Kody and Christine’s marriage, they know that Kody had some interesting ideas about what would happen when or if Christine found a new guy. He told her during one of the episodes that he didn’t want her to marry a guy who was only in it to “steal his money.”
Given that conversation, which took place more than a year ago, Kody’s apparent reaction to the engagement news isn’t surprising.
He’s seemingly made Christine’s engagement all about him.
According to The U.S. Sun, an insider with the family says Kody isn’t exactly happy for Christine.
“I don’t know if he’s serious or joking, but Kody thinks this is all a stint for TLC to get David on a contract, so he and Christine are relevant,” a source who claims he spoke with Kody, told The U.S. Sun.
“He’s still mad at her. He’s still very angry with her and he feels that she has intentionally pushed all the kids away from him.”
So not only does Kody feel this is just a ploy, but he’s also, apparently, centered himself in why they got engaged.
“He does feel this is a way of her kind of one-upping him and mocking him,” the source told the newspaper.
“Kody feels this is all for publicity and to get back at him.”
Previously an insider told The U.S. Sun that Kody has been annoyed with the attention Christine is getting since announcing her split and getting into a relationship with David.
“He’s annoyed by it all. It’s really getting to him, especially since fans keep tagging him and sending him the posts,” a source previously said.
“Kody believes it’s just Christine wanting attention. He doesn’t believe after all these years with him, she’s moved on so quickly, and is already in love with another man.”

So far, Kody hasn’t met David.
“David and Kody would get along. They’re very similar in nature and have similar interests,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
“They have large families and each were in long marriages, all while living life to the fullest.”
Not sure if that’s a good idea, not yet, as Kody still seems to feel some sort of way about the whole situation. Fans, though, are thrilled for Christine.
